Drawing contest for U13 school children

The European Judo Union invites school children under the age of 13 years old to take part in a drawing contest entitled, ”What does judo at school mean to you?”


Now that we are all studying and training from home, we want to invite you travel through time with us and imagine once again what it looks like to meet your school mates, your judo teacher and what competing looks like. Representing your school’s name with family and friends by your side is special and we want to know what being a part of the Judo Schools League looks like to you. 



  • any artistic instrument can be used to create the drawing (pencil, crayon, paint, graphics, etc.);
  • the physical action in your illustration must be in line with the spirit of judo and judo values;
  • please respect copyright laws;
  • by sending your drawing to us you agree to it appearing on the ‘Gallery’ within the Judo Schools League website and may be used as a formal illustration in future promotion materials related to the Judo Schools League project. 
  • if you publish anything related to the contest or JSL project on social media, please use the hashtag: #myjudoschoolsleague.


How to submit your illustration: 

Sign your drawing with your name, specify your age and your size of judogi (100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160) and T-shirt (7-8, 9-11, 12-14 - sizing is meant in years), submit a scanned copy to art@judoschoolsleague.com and please specify the postal address (country, zip code, city, exact address for delivery) where we can send you the sticker or the prize. The address once collected will only be used for delivery purpose and then disposed.

Deadline: 3rd of May 2020

You have two weeks to create your drawing and submit it to us, the results will be announced by the 11th of May. The EJU and ISF retain the right to nominate the Jury.
